Using this website

This site provides product information, setup guides, and links to Nearby Drop releases and project resources. Use it lawfully and do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or misuse its downloads or links.

Software license and intellectual property

Downloads are provided through GitHub Releases. The app is free to download and is proprietary. The repository’s LICENSE governs the software and its assets; this page does not grant extra copying, modification, or redistribution rights. Separate third-party licenses remain in effect for their components. Product names, marks, and third-party materials remain with their respective owners.

Compatibility and product limitations

Compatibility and test notes describe specific devices and setups; they do not promise that every device, network, or future release will work the same way. Quick Share discovery depends on a reachable network and device settings. USB MTP depends on the connected device and cable. Check the current release notes and device verification notes before relying on a workflow, and keep independent copies of important files.

Downloads, updates, and external services

GitHub hosts the app downloads and update feed. Update checks are enabled by the app; review release notes before installing an update. Google, GitHub, and other linked services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability and content are outside the project owner’s control.

Trademarks and external services

Nearby Drop is an independent project by Arslan Basharat. Google, Quick Share, Apple, AirDrop, Android, macOS, Windows, and GitHub are names or marks of their respective owners. Nearby Drop is not affiliated with Google or Apple. External services are governed by their own terms.
